For the first time, previously unpublished Lucky Luke stories in German invite us to join the incredible adventures of our Western hero. In "The French Chef," the successor to Morris, Achdé, skillfully and humorously guides us through a competition between two chefs, during which Rantanplan inadvertently gorges himself. However, once again, all attempts to train this probably dumbest dog in the West fail in "Barrel, Rantanplan!" The longing of the clumsy Johan for reindeer in "A Lapp in Canada" provides Lucky Luke and his old acquaintance Oldtimer with some quirky lessons from the silly trick box. Unfortunately, the path to sunset is not the way to freedom for the Daltons, as only one rides into the sunset: Lucky Luke. But when Lucky Luke and Machine Gun Kid meet, sparks fly.
