In this volume, we see the Disney universe through the eyes, or rather, the pen of French comic artists Nicolas Keramidas and Lewis Trondheim. What stands out in this adaptation, alongside the lively artwork, is the embedded meta-level, which is explained in a brief foreword. Accordingly, the authors managed to acquire some rare pages from the long-forgotten classic Disney series Mickey's Craziest Adventures from the 1960s at a flea market. They claim to be driven by pure altruism to publish these now in album form. The consistency with which this illusion is pursued is impressive and highly entertaining, just like the breathless whirlwind adventure that the artists send Mickey and Donald on across all imaginable locations.
