The historian Aloys Schulte presents in his three-volume work a history of the Great Ravensburg Trading Company, which was one of the most significant European trading enterprises of the late Middle Ages from the late 14th to the early 16th century. The first volume covers, among other things, its origins and organization, as well as the trading locations where the company operated. This is an unaltered reprint of the original edition from 1923.
