Fat Charlie Nancy lives in London, works as an accountant, and is not particularly popular, good-looking, or funny. His somewhat uneventful life takes a dramatic turn when Charlie's brother shows up. Spider is the complete opposite of Fat Charlie: handsome, witty, arrogant, self-absorbed, and he has inherited the divine abilities of their father Anansi.
