These proofs are based on statistical methods but are not standardized. This has led to different approaches and perspectives in the industry. A working group with the German automotive industry developed a guideline for a uniform approach, which this pocket guide is based on. The individual steps for the acceptance and assessment of measurement systems are explained and supported by case studies for better understanding. In the current edition of this book, greater emphasis is placed on considering pitfalls in measurement system analysis, and tips for special cases are provided.
