Stow-on-the-Wold is a small idyllic town in the Cotswolds in the heart of England. Here, thirty-year-old Annett from Berlin unexpectedly inherits a small hotel that belonged to her grandmother. Upon seeing the gently rolling hills, she immediately feels at home and decides to leave Berlin behind and make a fresh start: both professionally and in love. Soon, she meets the charming landscape architect Edward. They are drawn to each other, but Edward seems to hesitate.
