Product details

Shy Teresa loves colors and fabrics. Since childhood, she has been collecting colorful scraps of fabric, which she treasures like a treasure, as they remind her of the beautiful moments in her life that are long gone. In her dreams, the young woman, who has lived under the strict control of an austere aunt in Madrid since the early death of her parents, is bold and full of imagination, but in reality, her life is dull and gray. One day, when Teresa discovers an old shop sign reading "Auxtissus des Vosges" in a thrift store, she feels magically drawn to it and takes it home. Little does she know that this find is of fateful significance. The former fabric shop in Paris, to which the sign once belonged, still exists and is for sale. Teresa sees this as a sign and buys the small shop. She feels that she is finally in the right place. The shop feels strangely familiar to her, yet at the same time, she senses that it holds a secret. Shortly thereafter, Teresa stumbles upon photographs in the basement that apparently show the former owner, Alice Humbert – a beautiful young woman who modeled for some of the greatest artists of the Parisian bohemian scene in the 1920s. Fascinated, Teresa embarks on the trail of Alice, whose tumultuous life seems to be mysteriously connected to her own.
