With each new lad, it gets more crowded on the page, but also more fun. There’s splashing, arguing, and crying. They dash around, slide, and snack. As nine exhausted boys lie content in their bed, one next to the other, it can't stay that way: "And, is anyone else coming? Yes, indeed. One more!" The last one, the tenth, arrives as a ghost, and no one can stay in bed. Little boys are clever and loud and cheeky, but they aren't really brave.
