Karl L. Holtz presents various model assumptions of a systemic-constructivist pedagogy in this introduction. These are derived from the different sister sciences of pedagogy, such as psychology, philosophy, theory of science, biology, and sociology. Following this, the author describes the impact of such model assumptions on educational fields such as learning and knowledge acquisition, didactics, and counseling.
