The new series for the subject of Computer Science at FOS/BOS Bavaria is designed for use in all fields of study. The new curriculum (starting from August 1, 2017) is modular and requires a correspondingly flexible teaching resource due to the high flexibility in topic selection it entails. Depending on the requirements of the respective training direction, specific focal points can be set. The individual volumes are compact and student-friendly, with directly related or sequential learning areas of the curriculum combined into a single teaching unit (e.g., software development or relational databases). The modular series is intended to include 10 thematic volumes in the future. The concept of the series includes introductory questions on the topics, student-friendly presentation of the content with illustrative drawings, diagrams, and schematics, as well as exercises for review.
