Fellinger is a tough guy: grumpy and straightforward. Just like the people are where he lives, in a small town in the Bavarian Forest. Fellinger always wanted to be a police officer, but he couldn't make it due to his knee. Now he works as a food inspector. One day, an anonymous caller complains about the Chinese restaurant in the district. On-site, Fellinger discovers that the black sauce is disgusting but harmless. The situation looks very different in the cold storage. There, a dead dog is hanging on a hook. Things get tricky when it turns out that the owner has disappeared. Fellinger starts to investigate and doesn't stop.
