A new, attractive hiking route in the fjordland of western Norway. The Fjord Route runs east and southeast of the coastal town of Kristiansund, where there is even a starting point at the airport. The route, which is over 250 km long, is still relatively young and has been assembled since the late 1990s from existing paths and newly marked stages, complemented by an exemplary network of cabins.
