Product details
This work examines the technical and legal framework of business transactions on the Internet. The relevant legal frameworks of European, German, and US legislators are presented, and the fundamental prerequisites for the formation of electronic contracts are outlined. The focus of the study is on the requirements related to compliance with various formal writing requirements in electronic commerce, as well as the legal treatment of electronic signatures. Additionally, the structural innovations of the reform of obligations law, particularly the newly introduced information obligations in electronic commerce and their significance for practice, are highlighted.
