Since the last edition of Orlich's "Guidelines for Working in the Electrical Engineering Laboratory" and also since the death of Ernst Orlich, nearly 15 years have passed. It is a great pleasure for me to present this "Electrical Engineering Practicum" as a kind of successor to the work of my highly esteemed teacher. The book initially arose from the desire to have guidelines for electrical experiments for students once again. However, all descriptions are designed in such a way that they can also be used directly in laboratories, test stands, and in industrial operations, as well as in research facilities, etc. In contrast to Orlich's "Guidelines," this book is not tailored to specific devices, as each operation must adapt to the equipment available to it. Nevertheless, most publications include specifications.
