Essential for a successful business administration degree: Solid foundational knowledge in certain areas of mathematics, such as functions, differential calculus, financial mathematics, and linear algebra, are essential prerequisites for studying economics and are part of the core curriculum in the undergraduate program. Many first-year students often lack this prior knowledge. Therefore, timely refreshing of mathematical fundamentals is important for a successful study experience. This volume presents fundamental mathematical concepts and is based on the author's extensive teaching experience. It complements the three volumes "Mathematics for Economists" and the exercise collection on "Mathematics for Economists," which were also published by NWB Verlag. Since mathematics is only a supporting discipline for economics, a concise presentation has been prioritized.
