When Ella and her friends are only promoted to the 2nd grade instead of the 3rd, they decide to look for another school. Specifically, one where everyone has fun all the time. They end up at the shopping mall, where a jeweler is being robbed. The kids immediately identify the thief: it’s the magician performing at the shopping center. But before the police can catch him, the robber swaps his bag with that of an unsuspecting audience member. And that unsuspecting audience member is: the teacher. Of course, the fake magician is caught. However, Ella and the others no longer want to change schools; it has once again shown that the teacher would be lost without them.
