Caroline von Iven is young, attractive, and above all, very successful. Her company takes the international business of eroticism to new dimensions; this includes baroque masquerade balls for a select group of guests. However, one of these orgies ends fatally for Caroline. Rasmussen and Brix investigate in Eckernförde, Antwerp, and along the coasts.
