En attendant Godot
French, Samuel Beckett, 2009Product details
The tramps Estragon and Vladimir, along with Pozzo who later arrives with his servant Lucky, spend their time in an undefined place waiting for a person named Godot, whom they do not know and about whom they have no precise information, not even whether he actually exists. At the end of each act, a boy, presumably from Godot, appears to announce that Godot's arrival has been further delayed. The play is considered a typical example of French absurd theater from around 1950.
