Is the successful energy transition a utopia? As far as proponents of conservative energy sources like oil, coal, and nuclear power argue, this may seem plausible. This study questions and also refutes the arguments of these advocates. Furthermore, it dispels the fears associated with the transition of energy supply to renewable energies in Germany, known as the energy transition. Additionally, the author explains how the energy transition can succeed and how its success can serve as a model for other industrial nations to follow.
