The book is aimed at anyone who wants to learn technical English. However, it is not suitable for beginners. A background in school English is required. The book is suitable for both a one-semester course and self-study. The text is designed to be as simple as possible, avoiding complicated sentence structures. This makes the book also applicable in vocational and technical school settings. The current edition has been supplemented with a chapter on the basics of robotics and a conversation scenario. A German/English vocabulary has also been added. The index and appendices I-III have been expanded.
