Sometimes one searches for their spiritual roots in the vast world and only discovers them upon returning from the journey. 'The Turner' tells of her journey into the Canadian wilderness, where she was initiated by an Inuit shaman. Afterwards, she takes us back to the Mostviertel Ybbstal. There, she rediscovers the shamanic roots in the old customs and folk beliefs. She shares stories of charm necklaces and druid knives, of wart turning, and of the old times when people still practiced magic, cursed, hexed, and healed.
