The demands placed on vehicles regarding driving safety and comfort, as well as the increasing legal requirements for the environmental compatibility of motor vehicles, are continuously raising the proportion of electronics. Due to the necessity for information exchange among components and the ability to relay sensor information to various control units, it has become essential to create new systems for wiring and networking within vehicles. The author is focused on the development of an adapter that will enable the retrofitting of electronic devices in vehicles equipped with CAN bus technology.
