Developmental psychology is one of the most popular fields in psychology, with content that is vivid and relatable. The 8th edition of the standard work by Wolfgang Schneider and Ulman Lindenberger, along with contributions from more than 80 renowned authors, is now available in a revised version. Topics such as migration, resilience, and culture are not new but have been more thoroughly integrated. The structure is organized according to (a) age stages and (b) the development of selected functional areas.
