To get straight to the point: You can expect a lot from 83-year-old retired senior teacher Lilly Höschen. However, she does not become an astronaut in this novel. Instead, she becomes involved in the adventurous family saga of three brothers who continue their grandfather's soda factory and claim to be descendants of a Venetian family of dwarfs. Their mother had once accidentally married the wrong man, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. In search of their ancestors' treasure, the brothers, known only by their nicknames Liptegei, Zeppelin, and Mond, discover a mummified corpse in the basement. Shortly thereafter, a young girl goes missing without a trace, dramatically changing the family's life. Many years later, one of the brothers' daughters is kidnapped. Fortunately, they are friends with Lilly Höschen, who won't rest until she finds them all.
