Teaching geography without DaZ knowledge. As more and more young people arrive in regular classes without German language skills, teachers—often without DaZ knowledge—face new challenges. To ensure that students with limited German skills can still participate in lessons, this volume offers two-tiered differentiated worksheets as copy templates, along with corresponding vocabulary cards for 20 curriculum-relevant topics in geography for grades 8-10. Everyone works on the same topic. New words are highlighted in color on the worksheets and can be looked up on the vocabulary cards, which include visual representations and English translations. This way, DaZ students can engage effectively.
