Abstract: The nutritional guidelines for schools and daycare centers in the city of Zurich aim to provide children and adolescents with early orientation in the area of nutrition. They refer to the WHO, which, in its policy document Health 21, has set the goal of enabling more children and adolescents to have a healthy start in life and thereby reducing the number of chronic diseases, such as those resulting from obesity. The purpose of this text is to analyze and assess the project "Nutritional Guidelines for the Schools of the City of Zurich" in relation to the relevant aspects of Health 21.
