Target group: An introductory course in the German language, especially for young refugees and asylum seekers. This initial language orientation is aimed at newly arrived young refugees and asylum seekers and covers vocabulary and basic sentences in relevant areas such as greetings, origin, numbers, time, days of the week and months, daily life, school, and leisure activities. The material is very clearly structured and easy to handle, making it ideal for (volunteer) instructors with little teaching experience. It is engaging and generously illustrated, with short lessons thematically arranged on double pages. The lessons do not follow a fixed order, allowing participants to join the course at any time, and the material can be used flexibly. This offering is particularly well-suited for courses with a high turnover of participants and includes a free app for smartphones.
