First aid for children? Children can and should learn how to behave properly in emergencies and how they can help with simple first aid measures. But how do you call for help when an accident occurs? What to do in case of a nosebleed, sunstroke, or insect bites? How do you properly apply a bandage to a fingertip? And how do you stabilize a broken bone? Students will learn what they can do for minor injuries and when they must definitely call for emergency services. They will discover through an experiment what the recovery position is all about and explore how a space blanket works. Last but not least, they will also be made aware of potential hazards in school and during leisure activities.
