This loss has been increasingly felt in the Jewish communities of Germany, which have been experiencing a revival of vibrant Jewish life in recent years. At last, Bruno E. Landthaler and Hanna Liss are providing children and parents in the German-speaking world with this impressive Torah. Each Parasha (section) is retold in child-friendly language. The volume presented here, Schemott, is the second book of the overall work "Tell it to Your Children." Three more volumes will follow to complete the Five Books of Moses. All five volumes are primarily intended for reading aloud. Additionally, the authors have included helpful introductions and comments aimed at the reading adults.
