On a sunny November morning in 2008, Daniela Schmidt and Tobias Klein set off to realize their dream. On their fully packed bicycles, they experience 19 months filled with enthusiasm for people and landscapes, covering 21,297 kilometers between tailwinds and complete exhaustion. They cross the Alps in winter and the Central Asian Pamir Mountains in summer, travel in Pakistan day and night under police protection, and come face to face with elephants in Uganda.
