Between the two bustling metropolises, one discovers magnificent old farmhouses and picturesque towns. Sittensen with its crafts museum, the Zeven monastery, the Harburg hills with the Kiekeberg open-air museum, and the Tister Bauernmoor are just a few stops worth lingering at. The relatively short cycling path of 150 kilometers can be extended with several excursions. For example, the 40-kilometer cycling loop through the Teufelsmoor to the artists' village of Worpswede is highly recommended.
