The supplementary exercises have been created in response to numerous requests as a complement to the textbook "A Year in Norway." They consist of written exercises and an audio CD with pronunciation and structure exercises. Each set of exercises combines three lessons from the textbook into a chapter, which includes a translation exercise, a listening comprehension exercise, a dictation, and structure exercises. The CD initially features pronunciation exercises for the first four lessons of the textbook, followed by a selection of structure exercises. The Norwegian texts (listening comprehension, dictation) for the respective sections are marked in the text with a CD symbol, just like the exercises that appear on the CD.
