Do you love Japanese gardens and wish to bring a touch of Japan to your own garden? There are many different types of Japanese gardens, ranging from large strolling gardens designed around a pond to minimalist gravel gardens of Zen culture. However, the intention behind the design of these gardens is always the same: regardless of the size of the garden, the Japanese designer aims to capture the essence of nature within it. Using examples from Japan and Europe, the author demonstrates how you can adapt this principle to Western conditions.
