The first part of the book contains successful examples of how hedges and green walls can be used to provide privacy and noise protection for new installations and existing gardens. In the 2nd part important hints for planting and maintenance of hedges are given. Then, step by step, individual projects of different hedges are presented in planning, execution and maintenance. For visual protection, the construction of elements made of wood and natural mats is shown. Noise protection is provided by composite constructions made of wood and mineral wool, walls made of cellular concrete blocks, steep embankments made of embankment bricks and gabions. Part 3 contains comprehensive plant lists for the respective intended use as well as proof of delivery.
