This ecologically sound flora, proven over decades, is now available in a significantly revised 8th edition. New data on the seed bank in the soil has been included. This book not only encodes all vascular plant species from Germany and neighboring areas but also focuses on the ecological characteristics of the plant species. Detailed information on plant sociological affiliations, biological data, and site characteristics (e.g., soil) is provided for each species. The 8th edition of this work includes new elements such as information on the seed bank of plant species in the soil and data on their distribution throughout Germany. Overall, this flora has been extensively revised and updated.
