This book deals with the proper selection method for stocks for private investors. Various forms of selection are available to individual, non-institutional investors. During the so-called stock market hype of 1999 and 2000, these were primarily recommendations from third parties. Hardly any investor took the time to verify a company's fundamental data during that period. A technical analysis was often not possible due to new issues. Another source of information is the publications of relevant trade press. The third and often best solution is the opportunity to form one's own opinion about the fundamental or technical situation of a security and to make independent investment decisions based on this analysis. Both the internet and other sources provide valuable information for this purpose.
