This book describes fire protection design methods in steel construction and composite steel construction. The foundation is rounded off with the analysis of various fire simulation models and fire scenarios depending on the building usage. The optimization potential that can be achieved through fire design is emphasized. Since this study is also intended to serve as a guide for everyday work in engineering offices, special attention is given to the description of fire protection verification methods and the determination of temperature-related effects.
