Product details
Friedrich Gerhard Bolte, director of the navigation school in Hamburg, created a multi-volume foundational work on nautical science as the editor of the Nautical Library in the early 20th century. "Elementary Navigation" is the third volume in his series and discusses methods and tools for navigating ships both along the coast and on the open sea. It focuses on the requirements for the technical operation of shipping, methods for movement and course changes, as well as the stability conditions relevant for loading. This is a reprint of the original edition from 1907.
