Product details
Particularly in his early Romantic work, Ludwig Tieck repeatedly dealt with eerie material, which he himself described as fairy tales. The 1804 "Runenberg" about a mysterious forest woman, the 1811 witch story "Der Liebeszauber" (The Love Spell), and above all the early Romantic art fairy tale "Der blonde Eckbert" (The Blonde Eckbert) about a man who falls prey to madness, written as early as 1797, are among Tieck's best-known stories and were later included by the author in the three-volume collection "Phantasus.".
