Just before Christmas, Santa loses a tiny package. A little mouse finds it and immediately wants to keep the contents. However, she soon feels guilty. She puts something else in the package and hands it over to a blackbird. The blackbird also wants to keep the gift, even though it doesn't belong to her, so she puts something else in the package as well. Thus, the gift travels from one animal to the next. But who does it really belong to?

This story, consisting of 16 cards, is suitable for accompanying the entire Advent season. With picture cards 1 to 4, you introduce the story, and then you select one section per week. Conclude the sessions by discussing with the children how the story might continue, and then the curtain falls.
