Is God a living reality that exists in a relationship of dynamic interaction with the world, or merely a powerless companion, a final reference point, or a product of human work on identity? The systematic-theological contributions of this volume argue for the first possibility and understand theology as the discovery and description of God's liveliness. They reveal God as touchable in prayer and as willing to take risks and vulnerable in Jesus Christ. In the Spirit of God, the vulnerable God is not only perceptive but also life-giving and death-overcoming.
