Streetwork and mobile youth work specifically target young people who are threatened by exclusion and social disadvantage, for whom public spaces have become their primary living environment. This publication presents the results of a study that evaluated streetwork and mobile youth work in Berlin. The evaluation examined questions regarding the need for outreach and extended strategies in youth work, as well as which target groups are actually reached by streetwork and mobile youth work. Additionally, the methodology of this specific approach is outlined, and findings on the acceptance and impact of this field of work are described.
