Content and Concept: The exam preparation course presents the topics of European law that are part of the compulsory material for the First State Examination in Law. The fundamentals of the international legal references of the Basic Law are integrated into the treatment. The volume is designed for a compressed, highly condensed review before the exam and assumes basic knowledge of the subjects covered. The presentation does not follow the classical structure of typical textbooks but is organized according to the perspective of the respective legal practitioners, i.e., the German specialized jurisdiction, the CJEU, the Federal Constitutional Court, and the European Court of Human Rights. This structure is similar to the claim structure or the classification by types of actions from other areas of law, which is sufficiently familiar. This facilitates students' understanding of the problems, especially during exam preparation, without the disadvantages of prioritizing learning through case studies. In line with the didactic aim of the series, integrated example cases with solution hints serve to illustrate the content. More than 90 practice questions for the reader's independent knowledge assessment complete the presentation.
