The physiologist, philosopher, and psychologist Wilhelm Wundt is considered the founder of psychology as an independent science and a co-founder of cultural psychology. Several world-renowned scientists studied and assisted Wundt, including Bechterew, Boas, Durkheim, Husserl, Lange, Malinowski, Mead, Sapir, Thomas, Tönnies, Whorf, and Vygotsky. 'Experiences and Insights' represents Wundt's final work, in which he analyzes his own life and expresses his most mature thoughts. However, according to Wundt, it should not be a life description in the usual sense of the word. 'The motives it aims to provide for posterity are partly external events he has experienced and partly the results of the work he has pursued.
