Victims of sexual violence are often seen by society only as victims. Their resilience and creativity are overlooked. However, coping with trauma often leads not only to dramatic consequences but also to the development of special competencies. When existing resources are supported, post-traumatic growth and valuable biographical educational processes can be facilitated. Veronika von Eichborn scientifically paves the way for a new resource- and education-oriented perspective on the processing process. This allows for a better understanding of the life situation and achievements of those affected, and enables more targeted support instead of a destructive victim fixation.
