With a single bite, the snake could kill around 230 adult humans. Fortunately, this snake lives far away, in Australia, where the second most venomous snake in the world is also found: the brown snake. The stonefish is a master of camouflage. With its skin adaptation, it often looks like a rock, which proves fatal for many divers. Its spines can also penetrate swim shoes.
