Product details

The horse's hoof is crucial for its health. It must bear the horse's weight and absorb the impact of each step and jump to prevent lasting damage to the joints. Additionally, it enhances blood circulation in the digital cushion under load. Essentially, the hoof consists of the front, relatively rigid part, which ensures a stable stance, and the rear, more flexible part, which is primarily responsible for shock absorption. When the hoof makes contact with the ground, the front edge of the coffin bone is pulled downward and backward, causing the bulbs to spread apart, allowing the frog to touch the ground and relay information about the ground's condition to the nerve endings located in the dermis. The contraction of the bulbs during unloading creates a suction pump effect that promotes good blood circulation.
