Product details
The author, neurologist, depth psychologist, cultural theorist, and critic of religion Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) writes in this volume about forgetting, promises, mistakes, superstition, and error. As the founder of psychoanalysis, he gained worldwide fame. Freud is considered one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century. His theories and methods are still widely discussed today. On November 4, 1899, Freud's early major work, The Interpretation of Dreams, was published, dated 1900. This was followed in quick succession by the present work, The Psychopathology of Everyday Life (1901), Jokes and Their Relation to the Unconscious (1905), and Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality (1905). This is a reprint of the original edition from 1917.
