Jakob Levy Moreno developed psychodrama, the first form of group therapy. At the same time, psychodrama has also been applied in the context of individual therapy from the very beginning. This book discusses how therapeutic work is conducted in contemporary humanistic psychodrama in an individual setting (monodrama) and the theoretical and methodological foundations on which monodramatic work is based. In addition to the metatheoretical and methodological foundations of psychodramatic therapeutic work, the possibilities of monodrama therapy for different age groups, in various life situations, and for different types of disorders are presented. Thus, monodrama therapy is theoretically grounded and illustrated through numerous case studies, making this book interesting not only for psychodramatists but also for other professionals in the field.
