This study book is primarily aimed at law students preparing for tax law exams in the first and second state examinations. It is intended not only to apply already acquired knowledge in exam situations but also to learn exam-relevant knowledge within the framework of case processing. The cases have been tested in the well-known Heidelberg exam preparation and form an essential part of tax law preparation. With the exception of two introductory cases, the formulated solutions are exclusively aligned with exam standards and exhibit an increasing level of difficulty. Thematically, the tasks mainly stem from income and corporate tax law and incorporate current developments. Instead of simply stringing together individual problems, the complex and practical scenarios promote system and case-solving competence.
